Betsy is the Senior Director of V1 Gallery and Eighteen Gallery based , Copenhagen, Denmark.
Previously, she was the Head of VIP & Relations at CHART, an annual art fair and event taking place every August in the centre of Copenhagen. There, she was responsible for the international strategy and development of their VIP and patron programmes.
From 2018 to 2020, she was the Deputy Editor of the Boston Art Review where she edited and managed articles as well as recruited writers, developed issue themes, edited content, and copyedited as a part of a four-person team producing a 150-page magazine printed bi-annually. For the MIT Center for Advanced Virtuality in 2019, she designed and wrote period-specific newspaper for In Event of Moon Disaster, a deepfake project presented at the IDFA DocLab, receiving the Special Jury Award for Creative Technology (2019) and Emmy Award for Interactive Media Documentary (2021).
She was the Marketing & Development Associate at the MIT List Visual Arts Center from 2014 to 2019. There, she created and developed corporate and individual patron programs, was solely responsible for all social content, including graphics, photography, and copy, and increased engagement by over 400%.
She was educated at Suffolk University (BA) and Harvard University (MA). She was also an Advanced Study Fellow at MIT.
